Diminutive by stature but mighty of heart, the Gelling are the fourth of the Prime Races. The Creator entrusted a commission of a spirit of joy and of empathy. Many animals are endeared to them, many NelVan are irritated by their childlike spirits. Their thirst for excitement fuels their adventures, their heightened agility keeps them alive! The Gelling PC lives a life of challenge and daring where life itself is often the greatest reward.

The world of Prophecy is one which should feel not merely like a fantasy realm, but a real place. The maps packaged in the boxed set were rendered with details more akin to actual satellite photos of the planet than ink on parchment. Colors show vividly where forests and mountains collide, where rivers carve through plains and cliffs fall into the seas!
The map was illustrated by Prophecy creator,
Gregory Hancock
It was centuries ago when the Gelling melted slowly away from the societies of the other three Prime Races, but many by that time had already adopted the writings of their hosts. The writings in Gelling script are few and entail songs and stories. It is similar to Comnar in form, yet has even less flow. Gelling write as they live; passionately and playfully, with a depth that is misunderstood by most of the scholars who study them.

Terrors of the jungle wilds, hunters of beasts and men; the sreth posess the traits of reptiles and mammals. Born of the world of Axterath, they know no predators of Aesil'Dan save other monsters as deadly as they. The most unfortunate Comnar PC may happen upon one in the wild, but should the PC be of the Brandel subrace, his greatest asset may well be found in a sreth mount. A party should never tread a jungle path lightly.
The Sreth was illustrated by artist Martin Alvarado.
